The mission of Immanuel Lutheran School is to train our students to live, think, and grow according to a Biblical, Christ-centered worldview.
We seek to nurture not only academic excellence, but also faith, character, and wisdom, guiding students to see all of life through the lens of God’s truth. Our desire is that students learn who they are as God’s children, understand their place in His world, and grow in confidence to serve others with integrity, compassion, and purpose.
A classical education at Immanuel means pursuing what is true, good, and beautiful in every area of learning. Rooted in time-tested methods, our approach emphasizes clear thinking, strong communication, and a love of learning that endures beyond the classroom. Students are immersed in rich language, history, literature, mathematics, science, geography, and Scripture, with intentional instruction in speaking and writing that trains them to express ideas thoughtfully and persuasively.

Students absorb a vast amount of material through singing, reciting, practicing, and exploring. Predominant in primary and lower elementary grades.

Students move beyond facts to look for explanations, learning to think critically and discern statements logically. They begin to ask ‘Why?’
